Colorado requires the campaign to report the full name and address of every contributor, plus the occupation and employer of anyone giving $100 or more at one time. Please include those details with your check so the campaign doesn't have to come back and ask.

Colorado contribution limits. State law caps contributions to a state senate candidate committee at $225 per person, per election, and the limit applies separately to the primary and the general, so an individual may give up to $450 across the full cycle. A registered small donor committee may give $3,100 per election. Corporations and labor unions may not contribute to a candidate committee at all. Contributions are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.

$25

Puts a yard sign in a neighbor's lawn where hundreds of cars pass it every day.

$50

Covers the literature for a full precinct walk: one neighborhood, every door.

$100

Funds a batch of mailers to households the campaign hasn't reached at the door yet.

Rather Give Time Than Money?

Door-knockers move more votes than dollars do, and the campaign needs both.
